I was born in Durham,N.C. in 1940. I was born at home. So was my brother. My maternal grandmother had a lot of the Indian features in her facial view. So did my mother. They are all deceased now and I have no records of the cirth certifacate of my mother or her mother.Mt gradmother was born in Rougemont,N.C.,I have told.
Thank You.My grandmother was born into the Jefferies family. That is all I know.

I really enjoy listening to you sing. I have just started singing with a group in our rez we have been together for about 2 years now. Our group listens to other woman groups and hope we can make a difference someday with our songs.We sing with our own little hand drums and love it and we are all ojibwe.
